Romney during his speech to elites during a fundraising speech stated the following:
“My Heritage….My Dad as you probably know was the Governor of Michigan and was the head of a car company. But he was born in Mexico…And uh, had he been born of uh, Mexican parents, I’d have a better shot at winning this”
“But he was unfortunately born to American’s living in Mexico. He lived there a number of years. And uh, uh, I say that jokingly but it would be helpful to be uh…. Latino”
Romney is being less than honest about his Mexican roots.
George Romney, Mitt’s father, was less than honest with the American public when George Romney ran for President of the US in the 60s. George Romney knew full well he was not qualified to run for the Oval Office. Deception is a Romney trademark.
Mitt Romney’s ancestor had hightailed it out of America in the early mid-eighteen hundreds fleeing American polygamy laws to live in Mexico where the Romney family settled in a polygamist colony. And in addition, the senior Romney was also sought in a fraudulent land scheme in the US.
Veterans Today Military and Foreign Affairs Journal, ran an article on September 2, 2012 titled:
“Mitt Romney’s Father Was A Mexican Citizen When Mitt Was Born.”
